West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (know as WBPRB) invites applications from Male and Female Candidates for the Recruitment of Junior Constable in West Bengal Police. Details about WB Police Constable Recruitment 2011 is as below :- 

Last Date :- 18th November, 2011

Name of the Post :- Junior Constable (Male and Female)
Number of Vacancies :- 5000 Posts
Pay Scale :- Rs. 5,400 to 25,200/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2,300/- per month
Age Limit :- Between 18 to 27 years (As on 1st January, 2011). Relaxation in age are per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification :- Candidate must be 8th Passed from recognized Education Board OR its higher.

Physical Standard :- Relaxation in Physical standard for SC/ST candidates as per rules ....
  • For Male :- Height - 167 Cms and Chest - 76 Cms (81 Cms after expandation)
  • For Female :- Height - 160 Cms

Application Form of West Bengal Police Constable Recruitment 2011 :- Candidates can obtain Application Form and Instruction Manual from their area Police Station after showing of their Domicile Certificate, Voter ID Card or Ration Card. 

How to Apply :- Fill the application form in own handwriting and send the filled application form along with photocopies of all documents advised in instruction manual and 2 photographs to the below address on or before 18th November, 2011 -
