About UP Police Sub Inspector & Platoon Commander Recruitment 2013 :- 

In the month of May 2011 UP Police has published a details advertisement for the Recruitment of Sub Inspector (3698 Posts) and Platoon Commander (312 Posts) on direct recruitment basis. Final candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test, it is compulsory for every candidate to pass out physical test to appear in written test.
Physical Standard for both Posts :- 
  • For Male Candidates :-  
Height :- 168 Cms
Chest :- 79 Cms and 84 Cms after expansion
  • For Female Candidates :-  
Height :- 147 Cms
Weight :-Minimum 40 Kgs

Please Note :- Relaxation in age and Physical standard for reserved category candidates is as per Govt. rules & guidelines.

    2. उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने पुलिस फोर्स की कमी को दूर करने के लिए हर साल 41 हजार भर्तियां करने के निर्देश द‌िए हैं।

      इनमें 40 हजार से अधिक‌ सिपाही और लगभग डेढ़ हजार उपनिरीक्षकों की भर्ती होगी। यह प्रक्रिया चार सालों तक चलेगी।

      प्रदेश की कानून-व्यवस्था को लेकर उठ रहे सवालों के बीच मुख्यमंत्री अखिलेश यादव ने सोमवार को गृह विभाग के अधिकारियों व पुलिस के आला अफसरों के साथ समीक्षा बैठक की।

      बैठक में मुख्यमंत्री ने पुलिस फोर्स की कमी के बारे में जानकारी ली और चार सालों में सिलसिलेवार इसे दूर करने का भरोसा दिया।

      अफसरों ने बताया कि मौजूदा समय में इंस्पेक्टर के 73 फीसदी, दारोगा के 57 फीसदी, हेड कांस्टेबल के 82 फीसदी और कांस्टेबल के 54 फीसदी पद खाली हैं।

      चार सालों तक हर साल सिपाहियों के 40,459 पद और इस समय तक सेवानिवृत्त होने वाले सिपाहियों की संख्या को मिलाकर भर्ती की जानी है। चूंकि दारोगा के कुल 10,251 पद रिक्त हैं और इनमें 50 फीसदी पर नई भर्ती होनी है।

      लिहाजा चार साल तक हर साल दरोगा के 1,518 पदों पर और उस समय तक सेवा निवृत्त होने वाले दारोगाओं के पदों पर भर्ती की जाएगी।

      हेड कांस्टेबलों के पदों पर भी इन चार वर्षों के दौरान भर्ती की जाएगी। बैठक में बताया गया कि पुलिस भर्ती एवं प्रोन्नति बोर्ड के अधिकारियों को कहा गया है कि वे चार वर्षों के दौरान इस कमी को दूर करने की योजना तैयार कर लें।

      कार्यशैली पर उठाए सवाल

      बैठक में अखिलेश ने पुलिस विभाग को अपनी कार्यशैली सुधारने की सख्त हिदायत दी। सूचना मिलने पर भी अफसरों के मौके पर देर से पहुंचने को मुख्यमंत्री ने गंभीरता से लिया।

      उन्होंने अफसरों को चेताया कि सूचना मिलते ही तुरंत हरकत में आएं और घटनास्थल पर पहुंचें। साथ ही चौकियों और थानों में तैनात ऐसे पुलिसकर्मियों पर नजर रखने और कार्रवाई करने को भी कहा जिनकी छवि खराब है।

  141. this information to all my friends who are waiting for the up si pre exam result.Mr gorakhnath has filed a writ in allahabad high court for changing the patteren in the question paper means there shoud be overall cutoff of 50% but in the paper they have given individual cut off so this is the main reason of result is not comeing.court has asked to up state to give their explanation on this regardwith in three weeks the case has field on 21/12/2011 and the case number is Case :- WRIT - A No. - 74656 of 2011 so you guys can check the status of the case on the high court allahabad website.
