    5. Hi Jayajothi! I am watching your all comments. I think, You are showing "panthaa". Any way, i wish to u get a job. In this batch all are attended very easily. In Tamilnadu, the first mark is may be increased upto 265. Minimum mark for eligible to get a chance for skill test is 230. In last batch (My batch) first mark is 247/275. English qualifying cut off is 12 for SCs, 14 for OBCs and 17 for Gen. in last batch. At present English cut off may be 17,19,21 respectively. In Tamilnadu, all cans. are says attended 145 to 150 questions. My advice is all are improve their typing speed. Because Skill test mark will be decide to get a job or not.

    1. No u r wrong the cut off for English last time is 15. The same for Apps, Reasoning and Clerical. Last i too got selected in everything but missed it due to merit mark...so this time ibps is conducting so i think the cut off will be around 21...i did well but had attended only 32 in english terrible!!

  49. cutoff mark for english is used to shortlist candidates. they said that we should obtain qlfying marks for english. i think this is one of the way to eliminate candidates.if they declare the qlfying mark is 30 or 35 what we can do?.
    so its solely depend upon how much questions in english an average candidate had attndd.

    4. cutoff depends on the number of candidates and how well they wrote the xam. 2012 paper was much easier than 2009, so.. cutoff may be slightly more than 2009.

    but one thing is clear, elimination can be done in two way here....
    (1). increasing cutoff mark , with fixed qualifying english mark.
    (2). little increament in cutoff ,with increament in qualifying english mark.

    1. I think u r wrong sir, at first exam were planned to happen on 11th april.. due to some persons leaked question at delhi.. it is rescheduled on 13th may. so i think the result will come as per the higher officials planned..

    everyone is saying cutoff will be more than 220 230 and 240 but the truth is cutoff will be around 200 only for tamil nadu. last time the cutt off was 195(Gen) and last time there was no negative marking however this time we have negative marks for every wrong ans we lose half mark guys hence cutt of will around 200 if any one scores more than 220 +25 in skill test sure they will get this job best of luck guys

    eng -Only qualifing no problem 30 is more than enough so my mark will be 75*2 = 150 - 5(neg) is 145 and 45*1.5 = 67.5-1.5 neg say roung 65 so i will get around 210 i will qualify for next round but it i have to score mini 35 marks in type writing that is tough guys

    EPFO - 200-210 FOR GEN(Paper was easy but competion was low guys in Tamil nadu 200 vac for genral and 100 for obc and 65 for SC but only 10000 candidates wrote the exam 35 : 1 will get the job

  88. yea .. 7 wer caught n will be punished. But if they wer to conduct a re-test after a week itself they would hv let us know abt it. Now its almost result time :-) and there is no chance for a re-exam.
    -just wait for the result now datz all v can do for the time being... :-)

    reasoning-50 - 5 doubt
    aptitude-50-all correct i think
    maths -50-12 doubt what are my chances how to calculate the mark in reasoning 43.75*2=87.5 or 45*2=90-1.25 =88.75 i just confused


    will i get a chance to get a skill test? i am not completed typing.
